Why did you decide to leave the city?

I had an amazing twenty years thriving in the city, but now priorities are a little different. Five years ago life shifted for me after having my son. I still want to do the job I love, but to also spend quality time with my boy.

What do you love most about your job?

I enjoy spinning many plates in the air. I thrive under pressure and from a heavy workload. I love variation and knowing that every day will be different and I’m willing to give anything a try as I love a challenge.

There are no hidden costs involved. Our hourly rate covers work carried out and my overheads.

There are endless benefits to hiring a virtual assistant. To begin with, I offer complete flexibility in working hours and you only pay for the work you need completed. Virtual assistants keep overhead costs down, and you are able to delegate all types of tasks – big or small, no one will ever know the work wasn’t completed in-house.

We are flexible and can work around you.

There is no such thing as a minimum number of hours with VAA. If you are concerned about budget or only need a small amount of support, we are happy to start on as little as one hour a month with the flexibility of increasing the hours if needed. We also offer an open contract, so you can dip in and out as required.

We are happy to talk through the support you require and come up with the best plan of action for you. VAs tend to work part-time for their clients, so they can manage their hours and give the best possible support to each client but everything is open for discussion so we can best support our clients.

There are so many positive reasons for hiring a VA. Firstly, you will not be responsible for all the hiring costs as you would with finding a permanent member of staff. You will have access to various skill sets by using VAA. You are not tied in to working with just one VA. We can match you with the best VAs based on your requirements.

VAs tend to work from home the majority of the time but if you are local, we can be flexible if it’s arranged in advance.

Travel time will be charged at the usual VA rate.

After an initial discovery call, we will have a good idea on the type of personality and skill set which will match your needs/requirements. We will then be able to match you with one of our many reliable and friendly Associates based on personality and skill set.

A consultation call is free of charge and will help us get to know each other before matching you with your best VA. It is a forum for you to ask as many questions as you need, to help you feel comfortable with the next step in finding your dream VA.

After working with and managing Assistants my whole career, I have a good understanding of personality fit and skill sets. All VAs are researched thoroughly and go through an interview process. We also ask for current client testimonials if these are not available via their website or social media accounts. Here at VAA, we pride ourselves on being down to earth, friendly, patient and understanding towards each other and our clients. This is something that shines through in all of us.

In the rare situation that this may occur, we will discuss and resolve any issues with you straight away. It is extremely important to us at VAA that everyone is happy. This means receiving the best service and being treated fairly and with mutual respect.

We will discuss a payment plan with you to make sure it is affordable. We work on a retainer basis which means you pay for hours upfront. Any unused hours may be carried over for 2 months. We can always adjust the retainer if you are using less or more hours than first agreed.

You are not locked into a long-term contract with VAA. All we ask for is 14 days’ notice if you would like to change the arrangements in any way.

Our VAs all safeguard their PCs with encryption and anti-virus software. We use the Cloud for sharing documents and will encrypt any sensitive documents sent over email.

VA working hours will vary, based on their circumstances such as school pick-ups, looking after relatives etc. This will be something we discuss and make sure you are matched with a VA who will work to your timings.

Our fees do not currently include VAT.
